Summer Solstice Celebration & Potluck at Treasure Lake

Come celebrate the longest day of the year with Cincinnati Permaculture Institute & TreeYo Permaculture at the beautiful setting of Treasure Lake, the working permaculture homestead of Doug Crouch.

6:30 Potluck Meal
7:30 Bonfire & Music
8:30 Closing Ceremony

WHAT TO BRING:
Sign up here for the potluck meal! Doug will also be serving a dish with ingredients sourced from the farm.
In addition to food or beverage, you may want to bring chairs and blankets, reusable dishware/utensils, outdoor games or toys, and musical instruments for jamming around the fire!

Bring the kids! This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event.

For the safety and comfort of our farm animals, please - no pets.

Come gather and grow with Cincinnati Permaculture Institute as we celebrate the turn of the season and the bounty of fall. Host Kate Nordyke will take us on a walk around her property in Spring Grove Village, Cincinnati, pointing out wild edibles and permaculture design elements she has incorporated. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear for walking in the woods. Space is limited so please RSVP early!

4:30 Vegetable Garden Tour 
5:30-6:30 Potluck on the deck – Soups, salads, snacks – locally-sourced ingredients are encouraged! CPI members will be present to answer questions about permaculture, our upcoming classes, and edible perennial plants for sale at our nursery.

In the event of heavy rain or inclement weather, this event may be canceled at the host's discretion. Parking is available onsite for up to 30 cars and overflow parking is available 1/10 of a mile away at the Water Reservoir.
