RAIN DATE: Volunteers Needed - Putting Plastic Roof on the Greenhouse!
Help with much needed roof maintenance at the Urban Earth Farms greenhouse, shared by CPI and Tending Roots Collaborative and neighbors on Enright! Learn wiggle wire system for fastening plastic greenhouse roof. Needs to be able to climb ladder on greenhouse roof and work from ladder. Full training will be provided. RESCHEDULED DUE TO RAIN: Sunday, April 6 at 10a-2p (partial visits if you can’t do the whole four hours are very helpful). Will be working closely together to attach plastic to roof rails with wiggle wires in such a way that plastic is taut over the whole 100 foot length and 18 foot width of the roof.
