Cincinnati Regional Permaculture Convergence

We will be hosting our Second Biennial Permaculture Convergence for the Cincinnati Region to bring our growing community of practitioners together to share and learn from each other. We are excited to share that our keynote speaker will be Amy Stross, Author of the Amazon Best Seller, The Suburban Microfarm and publisher and author of She is also a CPI PDC Graduate from 2009 We will also have guest speakers that are currently being identified including John Hemmerle) (CPI PDC ‘09 of Our Land Organics, Linda Mathews (CPI PDC ‘16), Owner of Millennium Energy and Executive Director of the Lincoln Heights Comprehensive Redevelopment Corporation and many other local practitioners pioneering the way towards a sustainable Region in and around Cincinnati. We will also have a Silent Auction to support our fundraising efforts for CPI. There will be local food served and lots of knowledge to be gleaned throughout the day.

  • 9:30-10:30 - Regional Leaders Speaking on various Permaculture subjects:

  • 10:30-10:45 - Break

  • 10:45 - 12:00 - Speakers on Various Permaculture subjects. Details to come soon

  • 12:00-1:00 - Local Lunch provided by local Permaculture and Organic Farms, details to come soon

  • 1:00-2:00 - Break out session on bringing permaculture into our lives, focusing on various subjects and facilitated by local practitioners

  • 2:00-2:15 - Break

  • 2:15-3:45 - Keynote: Amy Stross (CPI PDC '09) will be talking about her Amazon Best Selling book, The Suburban Micro-Farm.

  • 3:45 - 4:00 - Break

  • 4:00 - 5:30 - A Permaculture based Film

  • 5:30 - 6:00 - Film Q&A with Local Permaculturists
